Dear All Board Of Committee, Members and Recruits of SJAM SMK USJ 13,
First of all, I would like to express my greatest appreciation to our outgoing committees for all their contributions throughout their years of succession in the division. Many achievements had been made throughout the years and there were:
- Third place in SMK USJ 13 Sports Day 2010, Footdrill Competition.
- Get the Most Outstanding Male Competitors (Pte. Goh Her Jun) during Area Footdrill Competition.
- Pte. Sylvia Chong had brought our division proud by being the Tokoh Unit Beruniform in School.
- Achieved the target of RM 12 000.00 during Flagday Programs
By the way, I would like to apologize to all Committee Members if I hurt some of your feelings and I don’t mean to do so. Once again, a big thanks to all of your efforts and wish you all the best in life!!
Next, I would like to congratulate all the upcoming Board of Committee members.
Just for your information, this year the number of committee member had been reduced from 23 previously to 19 this year. The main reason for this reduction is to balance the workload and manpower as previously too many committee members are available for a limited job scope.
To make sure our division continue growing into a stronger, better and more systematic division. This year, together with VADs and the upcoming Board of Committee 2010/2011, we had implemented a few things. All of it is listed below:
New Documents is added into department job scope.
To ensure the departments are able to carry out their administrative works more efficiently and systematically.
Purchase of LCD Projector
This purchase is to upgrade our teaching method in first aid by using IT instead of traditional whiteboard method. I believe with the help of LCD Projector, our first aid classes are able to attract more attentions during classes and with all the colourful diagrams projected out will help members to remember better.
Getting a Computer
A computer is sponsored by LCPL. Chai Yew Soon and a 4 in-one-printer by LCPL. Cher Thu Yuen’s parents.
The main purpose of the computer is to ensure all our documentation to be done in a shorter period of time. And ensure efficiency in our documents.
Creating a Division Dream List and Goal List
A dream list is a list of achievement for our division that might be just a dream.
A goal list is a list of achievement of things that needed to be achieve/done in a year (2010/2011).
If our division is a plane, then the Dream list and Goal list is the navigator for the plane to reach it destination.
Purpose of this list is to ensure we have a guide in what we want to achieve. Besides that, this list will be pasted in Bilik Kesihatan so that members and recruits are able to see and working together towards a common goals.
More Non-BOD member will join in as organizing committee for Ad. Hoc Projecs
Reason for this is to enable members to gain experience in planning events. Other than that is to improve the commitment of non-BOD members towards our division.
With all the new things implemented I believe our division is able to reach another step higher in achieving our common dream list and goal list.
Remember,
In this division, operate as a family. We encourage each other during bad times, and celebrate together during good times. We may make mistakes but yet we will stand strong as one. We will learn together, laugh and cry together, grow and mature together.
