First Aid Examinations

Dear All Members and Recruits,

First Aid Examination is around the corner,

here are the information related to the exam:

Members who had failed the first examination on

8th May are not required for a Re-Take as mentioned earlier.

ALL RECRUITS ONLY

are required to sit for a Pre-examination Test.

The purpose of the test is to filter out

unqualified/unprepared recruits for sitting the

first aid examination on the following day.

This is to ensure a smoother and shorter time spends on the examination.

In order to pass the exam, you have to score at least 50/100 marks.

The detail for the Pre-examination is shown below:

Date: 25th June 2010
22nd June 2010
Time: 12.45p.m. - 2.00p.m.

11.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. [afternoon sessions]
02.00 p.m. to 03.00 p.m. [morning sessions]
Venue: *UNKNOWN*

(Class will be notified by Divisional Chairperson Ms. Sylvia Chong after school reopen)

Subject: Theory Paper(inclusive of objective and subjective)

For morning section, your result will be out by 2.30p.m.

For Afternoon Section, your result will be out during recess.

Results will be out and will be pasted at the notice board by 4.00 p.m.

For those who has passed the exams, u are required to come for practical refreshment classes which will be on:

Date: 23rd, 24th and 25th June 2010
Time:

09.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. [afternoon sessions]
01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. [morning sessions]
Venue: Bilik Kesihatan
Please bring along 2 photostatted I/C (back and front at the same page) on the 23rd June 2010. The failure of doing so may caused candidates to not have a chance to take the First Aid Examination on the 26th June 2010.

If you failed the exam,

You are not required to sit for First Aid Exam on the 26th June 2010.

For those of passed the Pre-Examination,

The details for the exam is shown below:

Date: 26th June 2010

Time: 7.30a.m - 12.00p.m.

Venue: SMK Seafield

Subject: Theory paper and Practical

(Practical inclusive of CPR, Choking, Transportation, Simple Bandaging, and Fracture Bandaging)

Don't need to worried, the exam is very simple. All you have to do is just read up the First Aid notes given out during the first aid class and you are safe^^
